After the unexpected passing of her husband in 2003, Vanessa took charge of both her family and business, growing a modest photography venture into a thriving operation with office staff and a team of photographers. This experience sparked her passion for entrepreneurship and led her into the real estate industry, initially starting with short term rentals and setting up over 150 properties as Airbnbs for her clients to operating a home staging business for 5 years. Her Bachelor of Education with a Art major along with business skills and being the Director of an architecture company all laid a strong foundation for her journey into property development - buying, renovating and now quality new builds.
Vanessa’s ability to understand people's needs and motivation enhances her ability to form great partnerships. This understanding enables her ability to assess design considering the end users needs and desires. Her hands-on experience, combined with strategic partnerships, has shaped her deep understanding of market potential, design, and construction.
Today, Vanessa focuses on high-impact property projects, including luxury renovations, duplex builds, and townhouse developments. With a sharp eye for opportunity and a commitment to quality, she continues to expand her portfolio while helping others envision and create their ideal lifestyle through property.
